Finally the adults seem to have that put their differences aside, meaning that in 2014 the boys from Westville and Glenwood can again do what they have always wanted to do all along and that is to just play some good hard rugga against each other.
It’s academic who or what caused the problem which resulted in the fixture being canned in 2013. The hope is that going forward those same decision-makers on both sides can build a better relationship including opening an improved channel of communication.
As far as rugby is concerned, this inter-schools has to be considered the Durban Metro area’s premier schoolboy rugby event. From under-14 all the way up to 1st XV, tough uncompromising battles are fought and the good sportsmanship displayed on the pitch is hard to rival.
The set matchday is 15 March 2014.
The Venue: Not sure. Suspect it’s Glenwood
